One of Ontario's oldest towns, Ancaster was first settled in 1791 as
a water powered mill town. Largely bypassed by industry in the 19th and
early 20th centuries, Recent upgrades in provincial highways have turned Ancaster into the
crossroads for most major routes. The recent extension of the 403 from
Ancaster through Outside of rush hour, we are just 45 minutes to Toronto; and about the same now to Niagara and the U.S. border. London is currently a little over an hour away. While the GO train is just 10 minute drive down the 403. You can walk on one of the many natural trails that wind through the
many surrounding conservation areas as well as secluded sections in the
